2019 NAC- Team Josie and Team Penny

“We had a wonderful weekend at the AKC National Championship in Tulsa. We had a little hiccup in the beginning but Melisa ‘Missy’ Hutchings saved the day with her tire changing expertise. This was Josie’s 2nd Nationals. She had great runs and was 1 for 3 and got the premier run on Friday. This was Penny’s 1st Nationals. She had great runs too and was 2 for 3 and had a little bobble in premier, but she did make the weave entrance that was not easy. Josie placed 142 and Penny placed 100 out of 189 16″ regular dogs. I’m so proud of both my girls. They both love this game so much and amaze me with every run. I want to say “THANK YOU” to my family, Mike, Missy, Elizabeth, Justin, Autumn and Zack for all your support. It means more than you know to me. Here are a few pics for our weekend. “

Congratulations to Angela and Visa on Winning the 2015 AKC Agility Invitational!

The AKC Invitational is an annual event that invites the Top 5 agility dogs of each breed to attend. Angela and Visa, as well as nine more of Joan’s students, received an invitation this year.  There are four rounds in the competition.  The top scoring dogs from each jump height compete in a final round.  Angela and Visa made it to finals for the 12 inch jump height and then won the final round!

This win is especially sweet as Visa is the daughter of Joan’s dog, Neil.
