Additional class at Glen Carbon

Due to the popularity of the classes at Glen Carbon, I am adding an additional class time on Tuesdays nights starting on September 13th. This will be a handling class for dogs that are competing or close to competing. Dogs must be able to do all the obstacles without any training aids. This will be in a full-size completion area. It will be taught by Chris Brewer at 8:00 p.m.

This class will continue working with you and your dog on their fundamentals of handling.

When filling out the registration form mark it as Young Team Handling class – 8:00 pm.

Coach Joan

One Year Anniversary of Removal of the Chute from Canine Agility

Based on extensive research and documentation on the hidden dangers of the chute, Joan Meyer started a petition to remove the chute from canine agility on August 18, 2016.

Her petition gained over 4500 signatures.  By the end of August, the following organizations had discontinued the chute: UKA, UKI, AKC, USDAA, CPE, TDAA, IFCS, AAC, CKC and UK Kennel Club.
