Team Jäeger – Student Testimonial

Team John and Jaeger Triune Canine Training

Team John and Jäeger will be representing the United States at the 2017 European Open

“I’ve trained with Joan for a number of years now, she has a way of bringing out the best in each team, doesn’t matter what size or breed. With Joan’s help and coaching, helped my boy Ruger and I make it to the finals at the 2013 AKC Agility Nationals! She knew how I needed to handle  Ruger, since we didn’t have what one would call a “conventional start line” LOL  It wasn’t until this year, that I really started to want to be pushed as hard as I could, as Jaeger and I were going to try out for Team USA going to the European Open in Italy, July 2017, with the experience Joan has in running in these types of events, she knew what I needed to get to my goal, make the team! Happy to say we were fortunate enough to be named to Team USA going to the European Open!! I know it was because of the coaching she provides, not only in class but what homework we could take home to master the skills we needed to succeed. Joan has taught me that no course is impossible, a never say never attitude. Joan has also taught me, if we don’t Q on a course, not to ask what I did wrong, but, what positive(s) did I have from the run. Thank you for not only the coaching but being a friend on top of it.”   – John R.

Team Nanuk – Student Testimonial

I am truly honored to call Nanuk my teammate.  Normally you will not see too many Siberian Huskies doing agility but this one is very talented and gifted.  In 2016, our team achieved every goal that was set for the year – Earning his 1st MACH, qualifying for 2017 Nationals, and qualifying for 2016 AKC Invitationals and placing 4th in the 24 in class.  Thank you, Joan Meyer, for all of your coaching, guidance, belief, and confidence in this team.  We would have not excelled at this level without the knowledge and handling skills you have taught us.   – Rusty B.

Team Porter – Student Testimonial

Ever since I started training and showing Porter, Joan has been our biggest fan and mentor. In December 2016, Porter and I had the weekend of a lifetime at the Invitational in Orlando. This would never have happened without Joan and her positive attitude and encouragement. Joan provided us with the skills and mind set to succeed, but most importantly, Joan believed in us as a team and helped me realize that anything is possible. Thank you, Joan, for helping us reach our goals! Believe. Achieve. – Chris B.

Agility Basset Hounds – Student Testimonial

Winona Triune Canine Training

Joan has help me run dog agility with a breed not known to be agility dogs, Basset Hounds, yes I said Basset Hound. I’m working with Joan on running my 6th generation line of my Bassets. Her name is Wynona, she started with Joan at 10 weeks old the youngest in her class but kept up with her classmates. She will be 2 years old March 21,2017 and she is in excellent standard and master jumper with weaves. She took High Combined in trial at the 2016 Basset Hound Nationals and is currently in the top 5 for 2017 AKC Invitationals. She has surpassed everything my other Bassets have done and what I could dream of, we are looking forward to see what the future holds for us with Joan‘s help. – Geri W.
